Unlike hardware variety shockcord, Nova Shockcord is braided with color fast solution dyed polyester cover yarns for superior protection against abrasion and ultra-violet light. The core is made of parallel strands of round latex rubber yielding between 85% and 100% elongation and recovery, even after exposure to freezing conditions.
