Harken anodized aluminum jib leads are a very reliable and long-lasting replacement for low-friction blocks with ball bearings. These jib leads have two small holes drilled through them, to which a loop can be spliced to attach a hobble. This allows a working sheet to be temporarily secured, in order to free up a winch for mark roundings.
